Daniella Bikoulis, DMCP, CIS Named ADMEI President

26 March 2025

Wimberley, TX  – The Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) proudly announces the appointment of Daniella Bikoulis, DMCP, CIS, of Metropolitan DMC and Event Management in Greece, as its 2025 President. Daniella assumes this role following the successful term of Denise Malo, DMCP, which concluded in February 2025. The transition of leadership occurred last month during ADMEI’s 2025 Annual Conference in Arlington, Texas.

Daniella Bikoulis brings with her more than 32 years of extensive experience in the hospitality and events industries, with a career that spans the UK, Middle East, and Greece. Her diverse background includes leadership roles at a historic venue and a luxury 5-star hotel in London, in addition to positions at several top Destination Management Companies (DMCs).

In 2010, Daniella founded DB Meetings and Event Management, a boutique DMC based in Athens, specializing in incentives, meetings, and conferences. After over seven successful years, DB Meetings & Events merged with Metropolitan DMC, resulting in a collaboration that enhances service offerings and increases buying power for delivering exceptional events in Greece.

“Daniella is a dedicated industry professional whose contributions have significantly benefited ADMEI. Her participation in task forces, committees, and the Board of Directors has left a lasting impact on our organization. She possesses a global perspective and deeply understands ADMEI's pivotal role in educating and empowering Destination Management Companies worldwide,” said Val Delaney, ADMEI's Executive Vice President.

In her remarks at the Annual Business Meeting, Daniella shared her vision for the association’s future, "ADMEI has been a source of strength, knowledge, and collaboration that has elevated my career and that of so many others. Our association has made remarkable strides in expanding its global reach, and I am committed to continuing that momentum. With members now spanning 33 countries across five continents, my goal is to further grow our international presence and strengthen the global voice of DMCs. The more diverse our community, the stronger we are. Collaborating with members from around the world saved me five years ago—imagine the impact we can continue to have as our network grows."

Daniella assumes the presidency as ADMEI celebrates its 30th anniversary, a milestone that underscores the association’s ongoing commitment to advancing the DMC profession. Under her leadership, ADMEI will continue to foster international engagement, provide essential resources, and champion best practices that elevate the industry worldwide.
